Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or even Chrismukkah and Festivus, Lake Havasu City can light up your holidays. Assuming you’re not dreaming of a white Christmas (which, admittedly, is not our thing), a trip to Lake Havasu City during this very special time of year will create family memories to last a lifetime. Some of our favorite December holiday events are:
- 35th Annual Boat Parade of Lights, December 1-2, 2017
“Light the Way” is the theme for this year’s Annual Boat Parade of Lights on Bridgewater Channel, presented by the London Bridge Yacht Club.
Up to 50 boats brightly decorated in their holiday best will delight children and adults alike. The Boat Parade starts at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night.
There will be great viewing at The Nautical Beachfront Resort (the starting point of the Parade of Lights), Rotary Beach, throughout the Channel on both sides between Rotary Beach and Windsor Beach, the English Village, across the London Bridge, and at any of the restaurants along the Channel.
Lake Havasu City’s Boat Parade of Lights has been repeatedly selected as one of the top 100 events in the U.S. by the American Bus Association. Come join us to see why.
Boat parade participants and sponsors invite you to visit the docks in front of the London Bridge Resort where parade floats will be lit up nightly beginning at dusk.
