Shooting Ranges
Lake Havasu City is home to three excellent shooting ranges and an archery range, all open to the public.
Whether you're a novice or an experienced shooter, our friendly and safe shooting ranges provide the perfect environment for all to practice their marksmanship, learn the proper care and handling of a firearm, and experience the thrill of firing a weapon.

Established in 1971, the Lake Havasu Sportsman’s Club has 5 Pistol Ranges (50 yard), 2 Rifle Ranges (100 & 300 yards), Skeet, Trap and 5 Stand to accommodate every type of shooter. The Club host a variety of matches including, ATA, USPSA/IPSC, SASS, F-CLASS, XTC AND BENCHREST (both center-fire and rim-fire). The schedule of those matches can be seen on the website. All ranges are covered for shooting comfort. Shooters should bring their own equipment, ammunition, and targets. Target stands are available. The $5 for a round of shooting on the shotgun range includes 25 biodegradable clay targets. Only 'bird shot size 7-1/2, 8 or 9 is allowed. Eye and ear protection are required for shooters and spectators. Shooters under the age of 18 are required to be under constant supervision of a responsible adult. During Club sponsored matches, some of the shooting bays will be unavailable to the public so you should check the website or call for match schedules. The Clubs safety rules are available online and shooters coming to utilize the facility are urged to review the rules prior to their arrival. Contact the Club if you have additional questions.

Centrally located on McCulloch Blvd (Downtown District) in the heart of Lake Havasu City, Sam's Shooters Emporium boasts the longest indoor shooting range in western Arizona, at a whopping 25 meters. Bring your own gun and ammunition; or for those who would like to shoot but don't own their own gun, enjoy the wide variety of firearms available for rental — both semi-auto to full-auto with many different caliber options. Interested in firing a real machine gun? Sam's can make that happen. Sam's knowledgeable staff is available to help anyone who is a first-time shooter and may be apprehensive about firing a weapon. Sam's can provide all necessary equipment for purchase including targets, weapons, a full line of ammunition, and ear and eye protection (rental also available). All persons using Sam's shooting range must be at least 21 years of age or at least 8 years old and accompanied by an adult.

Featuring the fun and exciting MILO simulator, The Vault shooting center is a two-lane, interactive and air-conditioned luxury indoor shooting range with air-conditioning and a top-of-the-line air filtration system. The air filtration unit is a quad-HEPA filter system that consistently and fully circulates the ambient air, keeping smoke and unburnt powder out of your lungs so that the air inside is actually cleaner than the air outside. The range supports live fire up to .308 Win as well as VR scenarios and IR laser options. The entire range is internally ballistically lined and supports anything from games and target practice to skill-building exercises and military/law enforcement simulations.
Arizona recognizes almost all valid out-of-state carry permits, with few exceptions. Please check the Arizona Dept. of Public Safety website for more information.
