Lake Havasu City hosts exciting, year-round events that embrace the region's sunny skies, scenic landscape and endless fun.
Disc golf is a great way to enjoy the outdoors in a competitive, but relaxing way, and in Lake Havasu City you can play all year-round!
Best of all, it's free (you can't beat that)! The Grand Island Disc Golf Course is a nine-hole course located on the island. Holes vary from short to long, with some dog legs and tree obstacles. Some holes are over loose gravel so we recommend using a disc you're not afraid to scuff up on those holes.
While it does only have nine holes, each one has three different tee placements for variance in length and difficulty. It is a great course whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out. There is even a practice basket to help work on your putting game. Throughout the year, events and competitions are held; be sure to check the board near hole one for dates. If your looking to purchase some discs, head over to Big 5 Sporting Goods for a wide selection.
