Biking
Road biking on Highway 95 can take you 20 miles north to I-40 or 25 miles south to the Parker Dam.
The highway challenges riders with with some twists and turns along the way. It's a great form of exercise that also offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains and river banks.
Ideal weather for biking is from October to April when the temperature varies from 65-85 degrees. Rain is extremely rare year-round, and the air is clean and dry. Because Highway 95 is a main route, it can have very heavy traffic at times; extreme caution is recommended when riding on the highway, especially during busy weekends.
Highway 95 is the longest road available for road biking, but the change in elevation throughout Lake Havasu City can help make any trip around town fun and challenging. Biking within city limits is perfect for those in search of a shorter, but still exciting ride.
Didn't bring your own bike? No problem, Lake Havasu City has bike rental facilities to fit any need. Cycling weather is ideal from October to April, but many people bike year-round. Be sure to bring water with you and a helmet for safety.
