In SARA Park, there are trails to ride, slide, climb, and jump through at all levels of difficulty. All ages are welcome to hit the trails, making this a fantastic family outing full of adventure and exercise.
Didn't bring your own mountain bike? No problem, Lake Havasu City has many bike rental facilities to fit any need. Arizona mountain biking weather in our desert climate is ideal from October to April, but many people bike year-round. Be sure to bring water with you and a helmet for safety.
The Mountain Bike Association of Arizona hosts several events at SARA Park throughout the year. The biggest events are Attack the Crack on Thanksgiving and the MBAA Race in February. Registration is required for these events to qualify for the cash prize.
Parking for the trails at SARA Park are along Dub Campbell Parkway. There is plenty of free parking and the trails are color-coordinated to help you on your way. Many people frequent these trails on bike and foot as well as local wildlife such as bighorn sheep and burros. Keep an eye out and enjoy the view as a one-of-a-kind Arizona mountain biking experience unfolds before you!
