We’ve made it through another long hot summer – whew! – and the event season has already begun. Make this a November to remember by visiting some of our biggest events. Here are a few of our favorites.
1st annual Hangar 24 AirFest – November 4 @ 11:00 am – 6:00 pm
Hangar 24 Brewery & Grill is bringing its epic aerobatic airshow and festival to Lake Havasu City. The day-long event will feature the Kent Pietch’s Jelly Belly Dead Stick aerobatic act, Jon Melby in his Hangar 24 Pitts, Vicky Benzing in her Boeing Stearman, Bill Braack in his Smoke N Thunder Jet Car, and two bands – including local favorite Matt Farris. There will be food vendors, show & shine, craft beer festival, kids’ zone, and a wide selection of Hangar 24 craft beers.
Uh, about that term “dead stick” – it means power off. This we gotta see.
Come to the AirFest at the Lake Havasu City Airport, 5600 Hwy 95 N. #6
13th Annual Chillin ‘N Swillin Beer Festival – November 4 @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Over 40 handcrafted and premium beers are available to choose from, along with delicious food and live music. Bring your chairs and blankets, put your drinking hat on, and enjoy the day. As a non-profit staffed by volunteers, 100 percent of profits will stay locally to benefit the Lake Havasu City community.
Enjoy some brews with us at Rotary Park, 1400 S. Smoketree Ave.
12th Annual Veteran’s Day Celebration Show & Shine – November 12 @ 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
The 12th Annual Veteran’s Day Celebration Show & Shine is presented by Anderson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, in partnership with Havasu Classics Car Club. All proceeds from this event are distributed to Lake Havasu Veteran organizations and local Veterans in need.
See a display of hot rods and specialty vehicles, and enjoy food and drink, DJ’s with lots of classic rock and roll music, men’s and women’s gift baskets, a 50/50 drawing and over 20 trophies awarded to the best of the best.
With beautiful Lake Havasu only a stone’s throw away, and the longest stretch of Route 66 still in existence right around the corner, these are car enthusiasts who are never at a loss for outings, cruising, fun, and adventure.
The event will be held at Anderson Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, 3920 Hwy 95 N.
Lake Havasu Paddlefest – November 17 @ 12:00 pm – November 19 @ 3:00 pm
Who says you have to burn massive quantities of fossil fuel to have fun (not that we don’t enjoy doing that, mind you). Paddle enthusiasts, however, enjoy more quiet pursuits such as paddleboarding, kayaking, and outrigger canoeing.
Paddlefest will be held along Windsor Beach, in conjunction with the Sand, Water & RV Expo (see below). Activities include a kayak fishing tournament, poker run, group photo, and paddle games. The newest Hobie kayaks and paddleboards will be on display and available for demonstrations, and experienced paddling professionals can assist beginners and novices, thanks to Paddlefest sponsor Southwest Kayaks.
Join the fun at Lake Havasu State Park – Windsor 4.
