Come out and enjoy the inaugural Lake Havasu Veterans Fishing Classic event – for veterans with disabilities, their families, and the local community!
This is intended to be a no-frills event for disabled veterans and their families, as an integral part of the re-socialization and rehabilitation process. Volunteers and supporters are needed! Please volunteer, sponsor, and/or donate to help make a difference. 100% of donations go toward disabled veterans and their families. Shore fishing and other activities will be ongoing during the
tournament on Saturday. Activities run from 8am-1pm and include displays from
multiple commercial, local, state, and federal organizations, a shore
fishing contest and fishing instruction from the pros. Shore activities are open to the public.
TUESDAY BOAT TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE (ONLY OPEN TO VETERANS AND BOAT CAPTAINS)
7-7:30am: Warriors and boaters check-in
7:30am: Safety briefing and pairing of veterans with volunteer captains
8am: Bass tournament begins
8am-1pm: Shore activities (open to the public)
1pm: Return for weigh-in
1:30pm: Lunch served
3pm: Closing ceremony

Charity fundraising Bass Tournament with a $2,000+ cash prize! This tournament is open to the public and is $100 per boat for entry into the contest. For additional information, click here.
6-6:30am: Boaters check-in

7am: Bass tournament begins
3pm: Return for weigh-in
Fishing licenses are required (10 years old and up), but may be purchased at the event (click for details/pricing for either AZ Game & Fish or CA Department of Fish and Wildlife). No alcoholic beverages permitted before or during event hours. No
food/water sold to the general public so please bring your own if you’re
planning on staying for the day (coolers are permitted, but no glass containers on the beach areas).
Heroes have a right to privacy about their medical information. Please be cognizant of what they have gone through and refrain from asking what their disabilities are.
This event is part of the BLM/FCO Partnership’s Fisheries for Veterans Project, using America’s public lands and fishing resources to reconnect and revitalize America’s communities and American heroes.
