Cooks wanted and everyone is welcome to join in the competition. The winners of all three categories will be eligible to participate in the ICS World Finals in October. Sign up through the ICS website at www.chilicookoff.com.
Tasting kits are available to the public for only $5, available from 11am-4pm.
Red Chili entry fee is $35, Chili Verde $25 and Salsa is $15. To compete in an ICS category (Red Chili, Chili Verde or Salsa) you must also be a member of the ICS (International Chili Society) and a $60 membership fee is required. Membership fee may be pre-paid online or the morning of the event. No ICS membership needed for People’s Choice category, entry fee only $20.
All proceeds of this event go to the Lake Havasu High School Booster Club. Vendor spaces for non-cooks are also available. Contact the ICS or the Chili Cookoff organizer, Allene Macklin (email@example.com; 928-566-1336) for more information.
