Come join the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association as they present the 10th Annual Haunted Pineapple Race. This is an exciting Outrigger Canoe Race with local businesses, city council members, and police and fire departments competing.
3:30 pm: Event opens @ London Bridge Beach (just north of the dog park), participation registration begins. All participants must check in to Ramada #10.
4:25 pm: Event kick-off @ Ramada #10.
4:30-6:50 pm: Races start at the mouth of the channel.
7 pm: Winners announced right in front of beer garden at Ramada #10
4-7 pm: Beer garden open
The race will begin at the south mouth of the Bridgewater Channel to mid-channel; the finish line is the Dog Park – a whole 1/4 mile! May the best team win. Every year brings out the fun and competitive spirit between all of the community participants. Spectators may watch the race along the Channel. Watch it all unfold and be a part of the fun and community spirit.
Registration forms are available through the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association. Five people per boat, must be co-ed, with a fee of $200/team; teams must be an active member of the Lake Havasu Hospitality Association and in good standing to participate.
All teams must wear their best attire and will also compete for best costume recognition.
