On January 23, 2016, the Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge and Havasu National Wildlife Refuge both turn 75! Various celebratory events and activities are scheduled from January 19 to January 23, including a photo contest, birdwalks, open house, dedication of the refuges as Audubon Society Important Bird Areas and, of course, cake and a visit by the Blue Goose!
