Chill Out with Cold Treats—Buy ice cream, frozen yogurt and other tasty treats at nine locations in Lake Havasu City.

Stay in the Cabins at Lake Havasu State Park—The new camping cabins are located with the best views in the park, right along the shoreline of the Colorado River. Each cabin has space to sleep up to six people and features a queen bed with a mattress and two pairs of bunk beds with mattresses.

Campers supply their own linens or sleeping bags. Each cabin has electricity, water and air conditioning; all are ADA-compliant. The cabins have parking spaces for recreational vehicles, as well as spaces for outdoor cooking. Reserve a campground or cabin up to a year in advance at the campsite reservations web page.

The Aquatic Center Indoor Waterpark—The Aquatic Center in the C.V. Wood Community Center has an indoor waterslide, a wave pool, kiddie pool and outdoor splash area. Older kids and adults have two heated pools and a lap pool to enjoy.

Lifeguard-patrolled and temperature-regulated, the Aquatic Center also has adult aquatic fitness classes and children's swimming lessons. Float rings are available for use at no extra charge.
