Outdoor Enthusiasts
Discover endless adventures at Lake Havasu, where crystal-clear waters, scenic trails, and year-round sunshine create the perfect playground for outdoor enthusiasts.

The Bureau of Land Management video on outdoor recreation features activities on both water and land. For more ideas, please visit our Visitor Center at 422 English Village, below the London Bridge . The Visitor Center is open 7 days a week, 9am-5pm.
Day One
Morning: Take a hike! There are great hikes in the area that range from easy walks to difficult hikes with long, steep slopes and/or some scrambling involved. They range in length from 1 hour to 6 hours. Before you choose a hike, know your limitations and stop by the Visitor Center for information on what to wear, maps, trailhead directions, and more. Want to take a hike but would rather have a guide who knows the area? Stop in the Visitor Center, several days a week they offer guided hike.
Lunch: With over 130 restaurants, finding a taste-tempting meal is easy, deciding which one to choose is the hard part.
Afternoon: Take a dip! After hiking all morning, it's time to cool down and play at the lake. Rent a personal watercraft and venture off to discover Lake Havasu along the river. Take a swim and hang out on the beach.
Dinner: Finish the day with a relaxing dinner. Enjoy dining inside or alfresco. Many of our restaurants have private patio areas. Try one of our three microbreweries or dine overlooking the London Bridge and Bridgewater Channel.
Nightlife: If you aren't too tired after a long day, check out the clubs, pubs and sports bars.
Day Two
Morning: Take a trail! Let's go off-roading , there are over 20 trails within easy driving distance. Didn't bring an off-road vehicle? Rent Jeeps, ATV's, or UTV's . The best time to go off road is the fall through spring months when it's cooler. Would you rather go mountain biking? Rent a couple of mountain bikes - SARA Park has some great mountain biking trails.
Lunch: Back to town for lunch and to wash off some of the off-road dust.
Afternoon: Take a tour! Let someone else show you around. Choose from a kayak tour, jet boat tour, lighthouse tour, and more. Tours vary in length from 1 hour to 5 or 6 hours, the average length is 3 hours. What a great way to wrap up a day of outdoor recreation!
Dinner: Whether it's a steak, BBQ, or a giant juicy burger calling, there will be ample food to share as you plan your return to hike, bike, and explore more of the outdoors in the Lake Havasu area.
