Lake Havasu City is home to two excellent shooting ranges and one archery range available and open to the public. Whether you’re a novice or experienced shooter, our friendly and safe shooting ranges provide the perfect environment for all to practice their marksmanship, learn the proper care and handling of a firearm, and experience the thrill of firing a weapon.
Lake Havasu City Sportsmans’ Club, Inc. – SARA PARK
Established in 1971, the Lake Havasu City Sportsmans’ Club has both a pistol range (50 yards) and rifle range (200 yards) to accommodate every type of shooter. The Club hosts a variety of shooting matches, including ATA, USPSA/IPSC, SASS and NRA sanctioned rifle matches. The range is open to the public on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8am-noon. There is currently no shooting fee at this time. Shooters should bring their own equipment, ammunition, and targets. Eye and ear protection is strongly recommended for both spectators and shooters. Shooters under the age of 18 must be under the direct supervision of a parent or responsible adult. Shooting bays are not always available due to scheduled shooting matches. The Club’s range and safety rules are available online and shooters coming to utilize the facility are urged to review the rules prior to your arrival.
Sam’s Shooters Emporium

Centrally located on McCulloch Bl. (Downtown District) in the heart of Lake Havasu City, Sam’s Shooters Emporium boasts the longest indoor shooting range in western Arizona, at a whopping 25 meters. Bring your own gun and ammunition or, for those who would like to shoot but don’t own their own gun, enjoy the wide variety of firearms available for rental -- both semi-auto to full-auto with many different caliber options. Interested in firing a real machine gun? Sam’s can make that happen. Sam’s knowledgeable staff is available to help anyone who is a first-time shooter and may be apprehensive about firing a weapon. Sam’s can provide all necessary equipment for purchase, including targets, weapons, a full line of ammunition, and ear and eye protection (rental also available). All persons using Sam’s shooting range must be at least 21 years of age, or at least eight years old and accompanied by an adult.
