Arizona Off Highway Vehicles - ATV Registration
An off-highway vehicle (OHV) must follow the OHV registration/insurance and sticker requirements of the operator's home state. Visitors to Arizona may operate in Arizona for 30 consecutive days. Arizona residents must have certificate of title, an Arizona license plate, and an annual OHV decal affixed to the upper left corner of the license plate. Arizona OHV decals may be purchased online and are valid for one year from the date of purchase. More information about sticker requirements can be found on the Arizona Game & Fish Department's website.
To obtain a decal, the following three requirements must all be met:
- The vehicle is designed by the manufacturer primarily for travel over unimproved terrain.
- The vehicle has an unladen weight of eighteen hundred pounds or less.
- The vehicle has been issued an Arizona license plate.
If you do not have a plate issued to this vehicle, please visit your nearest MVD Office or Authorized Third Party provider.
