Arizona Mountain Biking: Lake Havasu City's Terrific Trails
Larry Smith explaining the thrill of the Arizona mountain biking experience in Lake Havasu City
Larry Smith was the owner of AZBuilt Sports, avid cyclist, Arizona State Cycling Champion, paddler and organizer of Another Dam Race, a popular bike race which later morphed into an outrigger canoe and standup paddleboard racing event.
Larry was an advocate for cycling safety, which made his untimely death in July 2015 from a biking accident, along with that of partner Deb Robison, all the more tragic.
An active all-around outdoorsman, Larry was always eager to help The Convention & Visitors Bureau promote Lake Havasu City as an adventure destination. This page is dedicated to his memory.
