Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and is gaining speed internationally. Pickleball is a paddle sport that can be played by people of all ages and skill levels; it is a fun sport combining many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong all into one sport. A Pickleball court is the same size as a doubles badminton court and uses a pickleboard paddle (smaller than a tennis racquet but larger than a ping-pong paddle) and a plastic ball similar to that of wiffleball (with holes through it).
Lake Havasu City is home to a non-profit Pickleball Association and games are played weekly at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, the Ark Center and London Bridge Beach. For more information about this game, contact the Lake Havasu Pickleball Pals.
