Our Mission & Vision
A Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) or Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) plays a vital role in promoting a destination. DMOs aim to increase visitor numbers to maximize the economic benefits of tourism within the destination.
As a DMO, Go Lake Havasu undertakes marketing and advertising, visitor services and information, convention and event support, partnerships with local businesses and other stakeholders, and other critical functions.
Our Board of Directors governs Go Lake Havasu by establishing policies, setting strategic objectives, appointing the chief executive, ensuring financial resources, approving budgets, and being accountable to stakeholders for the organization's performance. They also set salaries, compensation, and benefits for senior management and set the organization's overall strategic direction.
Go Lake Havasu's staff helps our local community grow and prosper by promoting positive visitor experiences that multiply the many benefits of tourism for visitors, residents and Lake Havasu City area businesses.
